From the moment a child is born they are ready to learn.

Those early interactions are incredibly important and the first three years of a child’s life are fundamental.

  • Over 80% of a baby’s brain is formed by age three.
  • Up to 75% of each meal goes to building a baby’s brain.
  • Playing and talking with a baby sparks millions of new brain connections.

At the age of 2, research shows that children greatly benefit from attending Nursery. Children are becoming confident to separate from their parents for short periods of time and they learn to make relationships with other trusted adults and children.

In our Robins Room, for 2 year olds, children have a lot of fun. They are cared for, comforted and supported while they play with a range of toys, sing songs, explore the environment and learn to play alongside other children. They also sit to eat snacks and lunch with each other and take part in conversations. Children quickly become confident in the Robins Room and their self-esteem grows. We have 12 places in our Robins Rooms for each session.
