The internet is amazing. Children can play, learn, create and connect – opening up a whole world of exciting possibilities. But with the digital world changing all the time, it is important that we support children to so they know how to stay safe.

There are four steps for parents to follow:

  • Talk with your children about staying safe
  • Explore children’s online world together
  • Agree rules about what’s OK and what’s not OK
  • Manage your family’s settings and controls

There is some very helpful advice for parents provided by the NSPCC:

Gooseberry Plant

We provide every child in Year 1 and Year 2 with their own account to an excellent online teaching platform Gooseberry Planet. This allows children and parents a fun way to learn together through online games and quizzes.
